Kin & Company is a design practice in Brooklyn, New York, run by cousins Joseph Vidich, an architect, and Kira de Paola, an interior designer. It makes sculptural metal furniture and objects, among them the Thin Series and the Crescent Table, and its first collection was shown in 2017.
The studio works with steel and tests the limits of the material, including research into oxidation and patinas, where chemical catalysts speed up the metal's natural oxidation to create surface patterns. On Formground it is shown through 34 pieces, each linked to its own page.
