Luke Malaney is a furniture maker who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, and was born on Long Island. He trained under a classical Roman woodworker and applies traditional craft techniques in new ways, making work that sits between furniture and sculpture.
His pieces have been shown in solo, duo and group exhibitions since 2022, including a two-person show at Marc Straus Gallery in New York and, with Objective Gallery, at Design Miami and Thema Fair in Paris. Inquiries about commissions and collaborations go directly to him. On Formground it is shown through 53 pieces, each linked to its own page.
