Welsh + Major

Welsh + Major is an architecture practice in Sydney, established in 2004 by David Welsh and Chris Major, working across architecture, interiors, planning and urban design. Its architects call themselves "modern-ish": a broad modernist sensibility that is not bound by the dogma of materials, and that responds to programme and context rather than reacting to them.

On Formground its work is shown through 8 houses, most of them in New South Wales, among them Seagrass House, Annandale House and Twin Set. Each links to its project page on the practice's own site.
