Workstead is a design studio in Brooklyn, New York, founded in 2009 by Robert Highsmith and Stefanie Brechbuehler. It designs buildings and interiors for hospitality, residential and commercial clients, and also develops its own line of lighting, with a lighting studio in Charleston, South Carolina. The lighting is crafted in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.
The lighting range covers ceiling, wall, floor, table, flush mount and outdoor fixtures, sold as in-stock, quick-ship and custom pieces. The studio also has a branded partnership with Schumacher. On Formground it is shown through 90 pieces, each linked to its own page.
