Studio Sam Klemick is a Los Angeles furniture and object studio led by Sam Klemick, who spent 15 years in fashion before teaching herself to turn, carve and sculpt wood. A love of textiles runs through the work, from the lathe-turned Bell Chair to upholstered stools and pillows.
The studio works in two strands: the Series, made-to-order pieces such as the Bell Chair, and Singular, one-off hand-carved objects. Wood comes from salvaged Los Angeles construction sites and responsibly grown red oak, and every piece is handmade in Los Angeles.
