Parachilna is a lighting brand founded in 2013 and based in Colonia Güell, Santa Coloma de Cervelló, near Barcelona, Spain. It builds on the Riera family's lighting history, which began in the 1930s with Metalarte. The range covers pendant, floor, wall and ceiling, table and outdoor lights in collections such as Aballs, Babel, Gweilo, Petra and Topuro.
Parachilna works with a circle of designers including Jaime Hayon, Sebastian Herkner, Stephen Burks, Neri&Hu and Atelier Oï. Components come from European suppliers and production relies on highly manual methods, with lights designed to be demountable and repairable. On Formground it is shown through 73 pieces, each linked to its own page.
