Objects for Objects is a Los Angeles furniture and design studio founded in 2017 by Leonard Bessemer, a self-taught carpenter who worked with the sculptor David Thorpe in Berlin. It makes furniture and objects meant to be valued as sculptural objects, with much of the fabrication done in-house and to order.
Production is in small batches, limited editions and pre-orders. The work includes the Rubble Kid's Collection, the Seymour and Mallow lamps, the Sidewall table, the Barney and Magnum kids' chairs, and a Soft Wave bench made with Raf Simons and Kvadrat. On Formground it is shown through 13 pieces, each linked to its own page.
