Mati Sipiora is a designer and craftsman who makes small-batch steel furniture and objects in his family's metalworking workshop in Czepino, Poland. He holds a PhD in design and worked in industrial design in Poznań and Berlin before returning to the workshop.
He works with a lathe, hydraulic press and welding equipment and avoids CNC machining. Pieces shown include the Poodle Armchair, the Cosmic Tray, the Zeppelin Chair and the Comet Lamp, and bespoke commissions are also taken. On Formground their work is shown through 12 pieces, each linked to its own page.
