Frangere Studio is a lighting, furniture and object studio run by designer and maker Carina Webb in Auckland, New Zealand. Its first collection, Fun Guy, takes its forms and colours from wild mushrooms and fungi, with handcrafted stained glass shades made in Carina's home studio and workshop.
The shades are cut by hand from coloured glass, edged in copper foil, soldered and polished. Fun Guy comes as a wall sconce, table lamp, floor lamp and pendant. Every piece is made to order, with a lead time of 12 to 14 weeks. On Formground it is shown through 7 pieces, each linked to its own page.
