Another Country is a company founded in 2010 that designs and makes contemporary wood furniture and home accessories in the UK and Portugal. Its designs draw on archetype, from British country kitchen style, Shaker and traditional Scandinavian and Japanese woodwork, and its wooden products are made from sustainable timbers.
Most of its numbered furniture series are designed in-house, and it also works with outside designers, including David Irwin (the Hardy Collection) and Ian McIntyre (the Pottery Series). On Formground it is shown through 247 pieces, each linked to its own page.
