Pierre Charpin is a French designer, born in 1962 in Saint-Mandé near Paris, who graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Bourges in 1984. Since the early 1990s he has designed furniture and objects. His site lists research projects with the glass centre CIRVA (1998 to 2001) and the fire and earth arts centre CRAFT (2003 to 2005), and collaborations with manufacturers including Alessi, Hermès, Ligne Roset and Venini.
He lives and works in Ivry-sur-Seine, near Paris. On Formground he is credited on 93 pieces shown through Galerie Kreo, among them coffee tables, vases, mirrors and lighting.
