Floor Lamps

No table needed - a floor lamp stands on its own and brings the light to where you sit: a reading chair, a sofa corner, the dark end of a room. Every product links straight to the maker's own site.

How this Edit is chosen

12 pieces from 488 floor lamps by 80 makers, taken one per maker where possible so no single maker fills the page. They are not ranked. The full range is on the floor lamps page.

What to look for

Check where the light falls from where you will sit, not just how the lamp looks.
A tall, slim lamp needs a stable base: check the footprint and weight.
Check the cable length and where the nearest socket is, so the cable does not cross the floor.
