Space Copenhagen is a design studio in Copenhagen, founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. It works across interior design for homes, hotels and restaurants worldwide, art installations and art direction, furniture, lighting and refined objects. Its approach, Poetic Modernism, balances opposites such as classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal.
Its interiors include the 11 Howard hotel in New York and the restaurants Geranium and the first Noma in Copenhagen, and it has designed for manufacturers including GUBI, Fredericia, &Tradition and Mater. On Formground it is credited on 83 pieces.
