Jonas Bohlin

Jonas Bohlin was born in Stockholm in 1953 and studied at Konstfack, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. The degree project in 1981 was the Concrete chair, made of steel and concrete, which became a reference point in debates about where art ends and craft or utility begins. Bohlin taught as a professor at Konstfack from 2004 to 2009 and received the Prins Eugen Medal in 2014.

On Formground Jonas Bohlin is credited on 37 pieces, shown through Ingridsdotter and Källemo, among them the Tivoli table, the Liv chair and the Concrete chair.
