Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and studied at Kingston Polytechnic, the Royal College of Art and the HdK in Berlin. In 1986 Morrison opened an Office for Design in London, which remains the base today, covering furniture, lighting, tableware, appliances and electronics.
Early manufacturers were Aram, SCP, Cappellini and FSB, followed by Vitra, Flos, Emeco, Magis, Maruni, Muji and Alessi. On Formground Jasper Morrison is credited on 51 pieces, shown through Alessi, Galerie Kreo and Fredericia, among them the Pots&Pans cookware, the Jota sofa and a three-legged stool.
