Shibui

Shibui is a homeware and accessories company based in Carouge, Switzerland, created by the designers Constantinos Hoursoglou from Switzerland and Athanasios Babalis from Greece. The name is a Japanese word for an aesthetic of simple, unobtrusive beauty.

The objects are handmade in Europe by specialist artisans and include the Linelight desk lamp, the Pinch container, the Float shelving, the Spice salt and pepper set and the iceCube wine cooler. The company is moving towards small-batch special editions and gradually discontinuing most of its existing line. On Formground it is shown through 12 pieces, each linked to its own page.
