Orlando Pippig is a self-taught designer and fabricator based in Southern California, who opened his own studio in 2020 after nearly a decade of designing and fabricating furniture in wood and metal.
His designs follow a strict formal logic in which precise proportions, repetition and spacing produce minimal forms, and he studies connection methods closely. The work is numbered rather than named, from the TL-01 table lamp to the AL series of shelving, console and coffee tables.
