Kieran Kinsella is a sculptor and furniture maker based in New York's Hudson Valley. The wood pieces are stump stools and tables carved from tree trunks, using locally sourced and salvaged Northeast hardwoods that are hand carved and kiln-dried.
The ceramic stools and side tables are made in slip-cast porcelain and hand-built stoneware, using the original wood pieces as moulds and models. Forms include Bulb, Kettle, Macaroni Bench, Cloud Bench, Cauldron and Drop. On Formground their work is shown through 10 pieces, each linked to its own page.
