Faye Toogood MBE is a British artist and designer, born in 1977, who works in London. Her practice sits between functional object and sculpture, and draws on the shapes and materials of the English countryside. Her furniture and lighting includes the Gummy upholstered seating, the Roly Poly chairs and tables, the Spade stools and the Johnny lights.
Pieces are produced in the UK, with Gummy upholstered by hand in natural materials. The studio also considers bespoke dimensions, finishes and colours case by case, and she is represented by the gallery Friedman Benda. On Formground it is shown through 41 pieces, each linked to its own page.
