Catellani & Smith is an Italian lighting maker founded in 1989 by Enzo Catellani in Villa di Serio, in the province of Bergamo. It produces suspension, ceiling, wall, table and floor lamps, built by hand from materials including aluminium wire, fibreglass, crystal, glass and gold or silver leaf.
Many pieces have been made to size or to a client's brief, for example a two-metre Fil de Fer lamp for the Victoria & Albert Museum café. Newer models use LEDs. On Formground it is shown through 126 pieces, each linked to its own page.
