B&B Italia

B&B Italia is an Italian furniture maker founded in 1966 as C&B, a joint venture between Cassina and Busnelli started by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli. It makes indoor and outdoor sofas, armchairs, tables, beds and storage, and brought cold-moulded polyurethane foam to upholstered furniture, as in Gaetano Pesce's UP series of 1969.

Designers working with the company include Antonio Citterio, Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola and Vincent Van Duysen. Fabrics, leathers and finishes can be customised on request, and the furniture is sold through B&B Italia stores and authorised dealers.
