Studio Anna Dawson designs lighting, with a few seating and home pieces, inspired by sensory experiences such as ocean air, morning light and urban discovery. The studio designs with emotion first and function second, and the work is found at places including Design Within Reach and the MoMA store.
The lamps are made of handmade fused glass, sometimes with hand-blown glass, on metal bases in stainless steel, brushed brass or blackened brass. Series include Ribbon, Twirl, Dancer, Calle and Valley, alongside the Portal bench and stool. On Formground their work is shown through 21 pieces, each linked to its own page.
